It is with great pleasure that we announce the following joyous news: five outstanding members have been honoured with 2026 Hong Kong SAR Government awards and appointments. The list is as follows (not in order of precedence):

• Mr. LUI Chi-wang, Robert – appointed as Justice of the Peace (JP)
• Professor YEUNG Wai-shing, Frankie, BBS, MH, JP – awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS)
• Professor CHAU Suet-fung, Dilys, JP – awarded the Medal of Honour (MH)
• Ms. WONG Hang-yee, Sandy, JP – awarded the Medal of Honour (MH)
• Mr. YUEN Kin-chung, Kenny – awarded the Medal of Honour (MH)

On behalf of all members of the CityUHK Eminence Society, we extend our warmest congratulations to each of the award recipients. Since its establishment, the CityUHK Eminence Society has brought together many distinguished senior alumni, dedicated to contributing their professional expertise, extensive networks and rich experience to give back to their alma mater and serve the community. The honours bestowed upon these alumni not only represent significant personal achievements but also inspire all members of our Society to continue leveraging their strengths, contributing to the development of City University of Hong Kong and the wider society, and working together to build a better future.

We are delighted to share this joy with all members and sincerely wish every award recipient continued success in their respective roles. May they achieve even greater heights and make further contributions to our alma mater and society.
